The good news is I got a haircut for work today. The bad news is that I think I'm going to be fired tomorrow. So, I can't stress this enough; click on the god-damn ads! I for one can't wait till I graduate, earn some money and trample over all the people who I've worked for getting there. And I mean trample.
And you think that was a bad day?
The previous day, I was to go to the city to have coffee with a friend. I live forty minutes away from the city. I took the bus in, waking up just in time, scrambling around for clothing and/or air. I finally arrive in the city to find that this person has decided not to come for coffee. At this point I have many a four letter word lined up to spray at random passing strangers. I decide that I should return home. I needed to be in the city at lunch time for lunch (fancy that!) with the mother. But I decided to go home anyway. I did. Forty minutes later I arrive at my abode to find the key has decided to STAY IN THE HOUSE! With nothing to do, I went back to the city.
Lunch somehow restored my sanity.
Watching Epic Movie afterwards removed it completely.
Then it happened.
I saw Eric Clapton live at the Sydney Entertainment Centre.
(But I'll save that for another time. It was great though - less acoustic drivel, more bluesy guitar-work, plus Layla at the end and some great Cream songs.)
What kept me sane through that:
I usually hate hip-hop/rap/RnB. It truly is worse than Sydney's transport network. But I am a fan of some of the older, 80's and early 90's hip-hop. For example, Run-DMC, Public Enemy, and this little thing which I played a grand total of 6 times during that one day.
