Some absolute classic moments in music there.

Some absolute shockers as well . . . 1996 - Macarena - Los Del Rio - the people responsible for that should be included on some Readers Digest mailing list marked never to be deleted.

As for Popcorn and Mambo No. 5 - they aren't far off either.

Isn't it great to see everything old is new again too -
1995 - Stayin' Alive - N-Trance and The Logical Song - Scooter - big hits of course from the 70's.

Now don't get me started. . . . about remixes.

Thanks very much Cheryl. I knew it was #1 here in America on the day I was born. Now I see only Australia was different.

Music in my birthday week hasn't been all that good at times I see.

Although some of them I really like -

Thanks for the video too. Rod is actually in my top 7 or so favorite artists of all-time. His Greatest Hits was the first album I ever purchased with my own money. the same day I got Blondes Have More Fun!

Hey Morgan, I haven't heard of half of them! I have no idea about that song either, it probably blew in and out of the chart quicker than you can blink

Hi MNG, yes the Macarena dudes need to be lined up and...well maybe not shot....maybe we should just make them listen to the song over and over and over. I think they play it in Gitmo. Your Readers Digest comment made me laugh out loud. What a great punishment!

Amazing how some of the old stuff has been rediscovered and redone. Although that is usually a very bad thing.

Hi Gene, I think we would all find that on the day we were born - if you go back through the years - there would be some real shockers!

How cool that you love the song and the artist from the day you were born. I'm glad you liked the filmclip, I was surprised to find it!
