Most disgusting headline ever. Making fun of Travis Barker.

In a case of the poorest taste shown in "journalism", and I use the word loosely here, the New York Post posted the following headline in an article about Travis Barker, the Blink 182 drummer critically injured in a plane crash on 20 September.



Barker was released from the Atlanta burn center at the weekend. The "story" they were covering was to say that a rep for his ex-wife Shanna Moakler, confirmed they're driving to Los Angeles in a tour bus provided by Barker's band, Blink 182.


I'm all for puns in their proper place but this is nothing short of disgusting. Not only did Travis Barker and Adam Goldstein suffer serious burns, four others lost their lives. How anyone could think it's an appropriate thing to joke about is beyond me.

Sarah Palin - Barracuda has Heart Problems

It seems the use of the song "Barracuda" that has been used by the Republican Campaign has pissed off the song's writers' Ann and Nancy Wilson of Heart. On Thursday afternoon, the band, Heart, emailed out a statement regarding vice-presidential candidate Sarah "Barracuda" Palin's use of their song at the Republican National Convention.

Following Republican Vice Presidential Nominee Sarah Palin’s introduction to the world, some have taken to calling her Sarah "Barracuda" Palin, which apparently presented an opportunity that the McCain/Palin Campaign could not pass up. Palin's nickname in high school was "Sarah Barracuda" which seems an odd nickname for someone who won the "Miss Congeniality" award

Australian rock band Jet has joined forces with The Fred Hollows Foundation, releasing a new video clip on YouTube to pay tribute to the life and work of the renowned eye surgeon.

Hendrix in sex scandal 38 years after his death?!

US porn company, Vivid Entertainment, is reportedly releasing a 40-year-old amateur sex video that allegedly stars legendary musician Jimi Hendrix and two women. The LA based company and largest adult film producer stated that it obtained the tape from a collector. Although they say the tape has been authenticated, by an ex-lover and the notorious Cynthia ‘Plaster Caster’ (who is famous for making plaster molds of the appendages of many famous rock stars including Hendrix), the authenticity has already been disputed by a former girlfriend and a number of collectors and historians.

According to the NY Times, Kathy Etchingham, who was a steady girlfriend of Hendrix, has checked out stills taken from the film and said that the features of the man in the footage do not match. According to her the face and nose of the man are broader than those of Hendrix
