They're Back!!! Prepare once more to raise the roof and funk the night away.






Long-running Sydney institution, Temple of Groove, is going to dust off the Trunk of Funk and pull out some old-school classics for all your booty-shaking needs.

Playing tunes by Earth Wind & Fire, Tower of Power, Sly & The Family Stone, James Brown, Prince, Average White Band and more this eleven-piece, energy packed, horn-laden outfit will take you back to the days when funk was real and in your face.

Wear dancing shoes.

Temple of Groove features Evelyn Duprai, Andrew Worboys (vocals), Dave Hatch (drums), Libby Bee (bass), Kurt Iveson (guitar), Carolyn Shine (keys), Tim Oram and Andrew Robertson (sax), Ed Schots (baritone sax), Simon Sweeney and Pete Gow (trumpet).

The Favourites features Rebekah Jensen (vocals), Martin Hailey (guitar), Jon Howell (drums) and Tim Curnick (bass).

Playing songs from their debut album Counting The Days, The Favourites swing through Rock, R&B, Soul, Jazz and Folk. Featuring the extraordinary voice of Rebekah Jensen and in-demand Sydney guitarist Martin Hailey with Jon Howell on drums and Tim Curnick on Bass.

Umbrella - Rihanna or Mandy Moore - which do you prefer?

Even though the song has been doing the rounds for a while now Rihanna's Umbrella has been getting a lot of airplay lately. I have just recently discovered Mandy Moore did a cover version.

I've put up both versions, which one do you prefer

Gnarls Barclay videos for Crazy and Run

Crazy is the first ever single to top the UK singles chart purely on download sales as it was released online a week before it was released as a CD single.

The filmclip is a personal favourite. A clever animation of the creators portrayed in Rorschach inkblot style. It's innovative and matches the funkiness of the song perfectly
